FWIW, I've been doing manual releases on flatpak stable and while it's a bit annoying, CI releases are also not without risk and more unlikely to be caught early. |

Need to test this. It's using make dist instead as that's how 1.4.x tarball have been produced. meson dist does not include the necessary files to build with autotools ootb
